Cancellations and weather

Free up to two days before, 50% the day before, and 100% on the day or for a no-show. Please see the Cancellation & Refund Policy for details.
Are you open in the rain?
We open when we judge that the site can be used safely. If you decide to cancel, the usual cancellation fee applies.
Do I get a refund if you close because of a typhoon or high water?
If the site becomes unusable at our discretion, we refund the portion of your booking we were unable to provide.
Pets
Can I stay with my pet?
Yes. Please let us know at the time of booking that you will be bringing a pet.
Keep pets on a lead or in a carrier within the grounds; do not let them loose or leave them unattended. Please also be considerate about waste disposal, barking, and contact with other guests. Damage to the facilities or harm to third parties caused by a pet is the owner's responsibility.
Can my pet ride in a canoe?
Pets are not permitted in the canoes.
Using the site
Can I play music?
Speakers, musical instruments, and any other audio equipment audible to those around you may not be used at any time of day.
When is quiet time?
From 22:00 to 7:00 the following morning. Please keep conversation, car doors, and lighting from disturbing others.
Can I move my car at night?
Moving vehicles, starting engines, and idling are not permitted after 21:00, except in emergencies such as sudden illness or evacuation, or where staff have given permission.
Can I have a campfire?
Please use a fire stand. Fires directly on the ground are not permitted. Never leave a fire unattended, and put it out completely before going to sleep or leaving.
Can I use fireworks?
Only in the designated area. Please follow the guidance given on the day.
Can I smoke?
Smoking is permitted only in the designated area.
Can I dispose of rubbish here?
Please follow the locations and sorting rules we specify. Leaving rubbish behind, littering, and disposing of waste in the river or on the ground are not permitted.
Can I use the showers?
Please check the on-site information for opening times and how to use them. Dyeing hair or using bleach in the shower rooms is not permitted.
Can I invite someone who is not on my booking?
As a rule, no. If you wish to invite someone not declared at booking or check-in, please ask a member of staff in advance.
The river and canoes
Can I play in the river?
The adjoining river is outside the campground's managed area, and there are no lifeguards or rescue staff. Please check the weather, water level, current, and your own condition, and never take your eyes off children. We recommend bringing your own life jacket and wearing it properly.
Please do not enter the river after drinking, when unwell, after dark, or during thunderstorms, heavy rain, or high water.
Can I use a canoe?
Canoes are available for a fee and must be booked in advance. After a safety briefing you paddle on your own — staff do not accompany you. Users must be of primary-school age or older, and anyone under 18 must share a canoe with an accompanying adult.
We provide life jackets, and wearing one is mandatory. If we stop canoe use for safety reasons, the canoe fee is refunded in full.
We recommend taking out your own leisure or accident insurance in case of injury.
